My Summer in Review

I’m beginning to write this while sitting in the Lincoln airport awaiting my flight back to Phoenix. I just finished saying my last goodbye, marking the end of my summer as well as my time in Lincoln, Nebraska. Over the past day and a half, I have said goodbye to more people than I can count: to people that I have spent every waking second with and to people that I will never see again. Saying goodbye while knowing I may not get another chance to say hello, is a difficult thing for me to accept.
